Hi,

Welcome to the online home of Albion Eurasiers.

I (Stacey Watkins) have been involved with Eurasiers since 2000 and have had the pleasure of being able to own, breed and show my Eurasiers at the highest level and standard possible.
You will regularly find me in the ring at Championship and International shows in  the UK and Ireland, as well as across Europe from Belgium to Norway.

I have handled not only my own Eurasiers but those owned and bred by others on behalf of their breeders and owners.
My Eurasiers are not just show dogs though, they are also very loved members of my family and I am lucky enough to have 7 living with me at the moment ranging vastly in age and colour; they all hold a special place in my heart.

My Eurasiers first love is walking. They love to run through the wood and the fields playing and jumping in the muddiest of puddles. The other place you will see them on an evening is laying out across the sofa.

What can I say other than my Eurasiers are my friends, my family and my life! The most important thing to me in the world.

Some of the photos displayed here were taken by friends and family, at shows and on dog walks held by the UK Eurasier Club. The photo with Tinu and Uno standing behind the tree was taken by the newspapers on a Kennel Club photo shoot in Green Park, London. This photo was seen in newspapers all around the world.

The bottom photo was taken at Discover Dogs, Earls Court where my dogs Tinu and Uno were the first Eurasiers to be seen on display to the public in England.

I have travelled all over Europe as well as America and Canada all in the name of the Eurasier breed, attending shows, conferences and gatherings to enable me to both assess and understand the breed further and I feel privileged to have had the opportunity.

One of my proudest achievements was in 2008 when I travelled with Olwen “Silmoralbion Eurasiers” to handle both her dogs at the World Show in Stockholm. It was a long drive but when the big day came I entered the Open Bitch Class with Albionspitz Aerin, Olwen’s red bitch from my 2nd Eurasier litter born in 2004. Boo behaved wonderfully standing and moving like a dream. She was awarded excellent and 1st in class- this allowed her to challenge for the Swedish CAC which she was awarded. Then it was the big moment, would she beat the only other female Eurasier eligible to take Best Bitch? Well what can I say, we moved around the ring with ease and into the waiting handshake of our judge! A big roar went up around the ring as every one cheered, Boo had done it

!!! The first and only English born and bred Eurasier to be made WORLD WINNER !!

I was so happy and so was Olwen. There were 100 Eurasiers entered that day.

Yours

Stacey Watkins
